Located in the artist’s birthplace, the village of Jajur in the Shirak region, the Minas Avetisyan House-Museum was established in 1982 to honor the legacy of one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Armenian art. The museum showcases a comprehensive collection of the master’s paintings, graphic works, and personal belongings. A highlight of the exhibition are the majestic frescoes, "Armenia" and "Baking Bread," which were rescued and restored from Gyumri after the devastating 1988 earthquake. St. Hovhannes Church

St. Hovhannes Church is located in the village of Zuygaghbyur, Ashotsk community, Shirak Province. Dating back to the 17th–18th centuries, the church is included in Armenia’s official list of immovable historical and cultural monuments. One of the most notable features of the site is the 10th–13th century cemetery preserved around the church. It indicates that the area had spiritual and historical significance several centuries before the construction of the present church. The Iron Fountain

The Iron Fountain is one of Gyumri's most impressive and mysterious monuments, located on the grounds of the city's former Polytechnic University. This modernist masterpiece was created in 1982 by architect Arthur Tarkhanyan and, due to its unique appearance, is often compared to a spacecraft. Although the surrounding buildings were destroyed in the 1988 earthquake, the fountain remained standing, becoming a symbol of the city's resilience and unbroken spirit. Today, it is a favorite spot for tourists and photographers who come to witness this exceptional example of Soviet modernism.
