George Gurdjieff
George Ivanovich Gurdjieff (c. 1866 – 1949) was a Greek-Armenian philosopher, mystic, spiritual teacher, and writer. He was born in Alexandropol (now Gyumri, Armenia) and became one of the most influential spiritual thinkers of the 20th century.
