Flora Martirosyan

Flora Artashesi Martirosian was an Armenian folk and pop singer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia (People's Artist, 2011), founder of the "Artists for Peace Charity Foundation", and initiator of the "Never Again" cultural movement. Known for her deep, healing voice, she performed Armenian folk songs, love ballads, and patriotic pieces, becoming an icon of Armenian music.

Early Life

Born on February 5, 1957, in Gyumri to an athlete father (Artashes Martirosyan) and a housewife mother (Siranush) with a beautiful voice who sang folk songs. She was the youngest of four siblings. Alongside regular school, she graduated from the Armen Tigranian Music School in Gyumri, where she developed her vocal talents.
